path: Home - Consortium ConsortiumThe MICHAEL consortium brings together public and private bodies: in France the Ministry of Culture and Communication (Delegation for Development and International Affairs), the association Dédale and the company AJLSM; in Italy the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the coordinator of the consortium and the association Amitié; and in the UK the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council. The main players in the consortium have a productive history of working together in the drawing up of standards and best practice models for digitisation of cultural heritage. They are participants in the National Representatives Group, which coordinates the development of policy in this area and advises the European Commission, as well as members of the MINERVA Coordination Action. |
